This restaurant is a drive-in located in Shoals, Indiana at the U.S. 50/U.S. 150 junction. Carhops come and take your order either at the table you are sitting at, or your car. This is not a fast-food restaurant. Everything here is cooked fresh. They are closed on Monday's and Tuesday's so that the bosses can spend time with their families that they were unable to spend being opened 7 days a week. They are normally opened from mid-April until early November. If they are busy, you may have to wait awhile on your food because of how limited space is on the inside, but the wait is worth it because the food is good. You normally don't have to wait long, except during the first few weekends after they open, and Catfish Festival during 4th of July. Their most popular items are their coney dogs lathered with homemade coney sauce on top, their onion rings dipped in homemade batter, their rox burgers (a double cheeseburger with onion rings on each patty and bacon on the top one, their ice cream cones, and their shakes.

Rarely do I rate a spot with 5 stars on my first go, but the outdoor seating was a nice touch. The double hamburger was a standout - hand-made patties that were juicy and flavorful. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a detour to experience this cozy diner.

We priced our food according to the online menu, they must have raised the prices without changing it online. Our bill was considerably higher. The food was very bland, and disappointing. I will not give them repeat business as I do not like surprise bills.

My husband and I drove all the way from ClayCity, IN Been coming here for a long time Today was the worst My tenderloin was burnt up but I ate it, was really hungry when we got here My onion rings were cold, so I asked for hot, I got them, but absolutely no onion taste I ordered a twist shake but told waitress I wanted it after I ate, decided to get malt instead was told I could not because my shake was in the freezer The purpose of ordering it after I ate was so it would not melt, when I got it, it was frozen Spent $17.49 This was always a great place to come, will not go back Waitress was not even friendly Use to own a restaurant, and I don't usually complain but this was ridiculous
