The restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, steaks, sandwiches, and smoked items, all of which are of high quality. The atmosphere is clean and friendly, making it a pleasant dining experience. The owners, originally from Maine, specialize in seafood, and the menu includes delicious options like the crab dip appetizer and fried perch.

I think I’m over the initial shock of the chaotic mess from our dining experience on Saturday, July 17th. My family and I have been patronizing the Woods Too for many years. We’ve been there for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, baby showers, and every other holiday that people celebrate. It’s been our families local hangout for many years but this time it was different, a bunch of us hung out in the parking lot swapping stories of the chaos unfolding inside. To be honest, this was my 3rd time being there with the new owners. The first two times were bad but this last time, and I do mean last, it was the most terrible experience I have had anywhere and they weren’t even busy! Two tables got up and walked out, probably more hungry than when they arrived because they had been in there for quite awhile and hadn’t even gotten their food. The couple of tables near us were all complaining, which they had every right to do. Our waitress, some blonde girl that was covered in tattoos smelled badly of liquor and acted like she didn’t know what she was doing and didn’t make a lot of sense when she talked. Then, you have the dark haired girl who seemed a little snippy and was bickering back and forth with the other girl. The owner seemed to just turn a blind eye to it all. I do know that all of us that were conversing in the parking lot will not be back and it’s a shame, the old owner had a good local hangout for us on the lake but the employees in there now don’t have a clue about anything. Please don’t take my word for it, go there yourself. But if you do, make sure you eat first!

Service was AWFUL! You’re in the hospitality business......look up the meaning! Ever heard of “service with a smile”? We left there feeling like they could care less if we were there or not. No smiles, no apologies for the 45 minute wait for drinks just unhappy faces from the servers that made us all feel like a burden! Will NOT be back. Will make sure to tell all our lake friends about the poor service and suggest the shady nook instead!

For what we paid for the meals vs the portion size and quality was way below what we expected.
I had the smothered Chicken Breast dinner.......the piece of breast was very small and overcooked
My wife had the Brisket Mac & Cheese and the Brisket was very tough and it was cut into chunks rather than sliced.
And for an appetizer we had fried green beans.......have of the order didn't have any breading and most were stuck together.
Would not recommend
