Heather's Diner has been a favorite of mine for its delicious meals and attentive service, but my recent experience with the Biscuits and Gravy left much to be desired. Instead of the hearty sausage pieces I expected, the dish tasted bland, resembling just flour and water, which was disappointing after so many enjoyable visits. However, the breakfast options like the Farmers Skillet and the chicken strip dinner are consistently excellent, and the friendly atmosphere makes it a charming spot in the heart of Demotte.

I had a friend from out of town and we went for breakfast! WOW amazing skillet and pancakes were great!!!!!

By far the worst service we have ever had here and we won't be back because of it.
Lyndsay should find a different job where she doesn't have to interact with people...ever.
Her customer service skills are seriously lacking and her attitude is despicable to say the least.
We came in as a party of 10, which can absolutely be overwhelming. But we kept it pretty simple as half of us ordered a ham and cheese omelet w Texas toast.
She was initially annoyed when taking our drink order since one of the boys had to run back to the car and was late requesting his sprite. It was written all over her face.
When she brought out the food, my plate was given to someone else in our party because she had absolutely no clue who ordered what. He peppered his food and was beginning to eat when she realized her mistake. She then offered that plate to me or I would have to wait for it to be remade!
Wtf?!
She then brought my "remade" plate out twice with the wrong food. Never apologized and instead was ignorant and rude.
I can sympathize with having a bad day, we're all human. But this was so much more than that with absolutely no remorse that we were paying a bill of more than $100.
I couldn't imagine coming back after an experience like that and will absolutely be telling our friends and neighbors that frequent here as well!

The food is delicious. The staff was friendly and the waitress was excellent. Nice to get out.

This place is amazing..the food is excellent,chicken sandwich was really good,also had white fish also really good , hash browns the best I have ever had...service very good..I drive from Hobart to eat at this restaurant so you know it hax yo be a great place..!!!

Very Clean especially with everything going on these days, tables, menus, salt& pepper cleaned after every use. Food is good and always warm

The food is really great since I just moved here from Chicago I haven't found anything I really like until now there service is also great couldn't be more satisfied
