Updating my review after 12 years, I revisited the charming Amish restaurant today and was delighted to find that the quality of the food remains exceptional. From hand-peeled mashed potatoes to freshly baked desserts, every dish exudes home-cooked goodness. The friendly service and clean environment add to the overall pleasant dining experience, making it well worth a detour off the highway.

We have been to Gasthof"s several times and it is always good food and a good time and everyone is very friendly.

Wonderful Food everytime !!! An even though sign said short staffed it did not tarnish our visit at all !!!! Thankyou hard workers for a lovely meal today ! I hope you are compensated for your hard word an commitment â¤ï¸

We drove 1 hour and 45 minutes got in in about 5 minutes , the food and service more than lived up to expectations, never had bad serving of anything , my favorite s were the fish and meatloaf. If there was any draw back it would've been that the blackberry cobbler was gone almost as fast as they could bring it out. I will make the drive again.

Very disappointed. Been there several times but for the distance I had to drive, it was not as good. Won't be going back.
