The filet with the vegetables was delicious, the staff was efficient and the overall experience was positive, with the only downside being a slight error in the check that was quickly rectified.

Our waiter was excellent. The food was good.
The dinnerware was all chipped.
The handle completely broke off my full cup of coffee getting me soaking wet with coffee.
We didn't even get an apology or a free food item or appetizer. When I approached the owner he became belligerent & loud. He said it wasn't his problem the cup broke.
Very unprofessional. We won't be back to this restaurant.

They have the very best filets ever. Mushrooms are great. House salad has house dressing which is their own. Have NEVER had anything bad ever. Been going to this restaurant for many years. They do not take reservations. Which is ok. There are times when the noise level is high. But will eat there as much as I possibly can. Great food. Great service FREAT PRICE!!!!!!

Visited La Trattoria on 6/29/18 at 8:10 pm. with two business colleagues from Europe. Have not been made aware of that restaurant closes at 9 pm. Waiter inexperienced but arrogant. Dumped beer in bottles on the table, had to ask for glasses, got dirty looks. Bottle of red wine had a temperature of at least 75F. Steak, side dishes were good. At 9:30 pm manager shouted towards our table "I want to go home now - we close at 9!" Didn't have the courtesy and style to come to the table and made us aware of that restaurant closes at 9 pm. Overall, we felt that we were a distraction to the employees rather than guests. Since our corporation is located in Greenwood, we have been visiting La Trattorial on a regular basis with our guests. Over the past years service and attitude have continuously declined, but this last night's experience topped everything! We'll certainly not visit this restaurant again!

The waitress was a snob who seemed aggravated that we were even there. She kept trying to push steaks on us, even though I told her that we don't eat beef. She said "Oh whatever!" and walked away. Almost 20 minutes went by before my husband had to flag her down and tell her that we were ready to order and we needed more water. My order was completely wrong (lasagna, again, I don't eat beef) and when I brought it up, she argued with me telling me that I got what I ordered and they don't play games there. I sent it back anyways and got what I ordered to begin with. She charged us for both dishes and made sure that at least a 20% tip was expected. I was so upset I didn't hardly eat, and my husband was just plain pissed. What we both ate was sub-par for such a pricey place. We were out to celebrate closing on our house, and this waitress completely ruined our night. We will never come back here again.
