For both me and my friend, this was our first (and likely our LAST) dining experience at QS&L. I tried the "all the wings you can eat Tuesday special." The wings are on the small side. The first serving of 10 wings is brought to you, and since they have bones most people are going to eat them fairly quickly and be ready for more. When you ask for a 2nd serving, they only bring you 5 wings, and were quite slow about serving them. Why only five? Maybe they figure you'll be tired of waiting and pay your check instead of asking for any more? Also, they provide 2 very small cuplettes of ranch dressing with your first order, and you must pay extra for any more. Why would anyone pay extra for nothing but very cheap tasting ranch salad dressing ? ! The service was definitely below-par, especially since they were not very busy at all. My friend went up to the cash register and asked for the check & was told "Oh, you'll have to get it from your waitress." Why doesn't the employee offer to get it from the waitress for the customer?? Our conclusion is you won't get much for your money here. And there are several other places nearby with better quality wings. This is more of a place to come for a drink, and not much more.

We had a party of 9 on a Monday night.We called in advance so there was no wait. It took a hour to get our food even though they werenot busy. One of our orders were wrong.We all had sandwiches with sodas and our bill alone for 5 people was 86.50. We got one refill and the rest of the time our glasses sat empty. NOT happy and will not return.

We have tried this place three times now and two out of three times we had an unplesant experience. First time, lack of service and then my food came out wrong was made right and my wife waited till I was nearly finished before her food arrived. This was right after they opened. Second time around food order wasn't right again but we let it be ate and left. (No one around to order drinks anyway.) Third time was on Black Friday 7:30PM and they were not at all busy. First we waited 10 minutes after being seated for wait staff, while they vacumed and sat at another table with thier pals. Had to place my drink oder at the bar and when we told our server (Pat) we had already ordered drinks he could'nt get away fast enough. But we did get him stopped and our order placed. Another server delivered our food and we left undisturbed the rest of the night untill I had to go looking for our server for a ticket. We sat and waited about 10 minutes for the ticket also. $50 and change and Pat got his tip in coins. He could have gotten a $15 tip had he been working. Had my wifes staff provided such poor service they would not be allowed to work the floor again.

Wow! Ifyou have never been to Quaker Steak and Lube in Council Bluffs, Iowa, then you owe it to yourself to visit this place. If you like Nascar and Motorcycles, then this place is for you! I love Wednesday night Bike Night. I try to take my motorcycle down there every Wednesday. The wings are good and I can't quite get to the Atomic wings but am working on it. If you want a wing that will blow your head off then the Atomic is for you. Eat a plate of those and get your name put on a list of others who have accomplished the feat. By the way...sign a release form before you eat them, just to protect the restaurant. The cars in the motorcycle room are impressive.
