They say they can't set us until everyone in our party was here. We got there early just to get a good table. Very disappointed

Went there Friday night with 10 people we were seated immediately and the service was friendly and or food was hot and delicious as always, the rib eyes can't be beat it came just the way we ordered it med rare,we definitely will be back it's one of our favorite places to go.

We had a Rib Eye and split it with my friend and still had a to go box it was done to perfection and delicious and the service was great and friendly we plan to go back soon just cant beat the food here at Unkies

5 of us were at Unkies tonight and the steaks and the shrimp and jumbo shrimp were done to perfection ,never been disappointed all our food was delicious, very friendly service very reasonable prices

I had the colossal king crab leg again and not disappointed it was 21 oz but I took half home and had it the next night I've never been disappointed in any of thier food always excellent rib eye steaks are the best around

Great Place to eat! If you had a bad experience here, try again! Everyone has their bad days, even restaurants too! This is a place where people drive many miles to eat here. We love it! & most others love it! Call ahead to see if they're open & or not too busy so you are prepared for a good meal and a good time 😉

The best steaks anywhere, I especially like the super jumbo shrimp, my wife loves the salmon. The appetizers are excellent, batter made on site dipped and fried fresh.

I went to Unkies monday night and had the colossal king crablegs they were the biggest I've ever seen 24 ouncesI ate half and had a 13 ounces left for tue night and it was just as good warmed up.

Got there at 6:30PM had to wait an half hour in a cozy little bar down the street and the wait was well worth it. Made our anniversary a fun night

Okay, let me review this again. It baffles me as to why people "like" this restaurant so much. My first and only Unkie dining experience was absolutely horrible! The female owner of the restaurant was extremely rude, offensive and unprofessional. Our party had to wait a long time (standing) because of course there wasn't any seating available in the waiting area. The food was mediocre at best, I certainly didn't leave the restaurant saying 'oh my god that was good'. Our service was outrageously pathetic! I wouldn't recommend Unkie's to anyone unless you want your dining to include b!tching from the female owner and sh!tty service by the waitresses. I simply will not support a classless establishment that is Unkie's that's for sure. Perhaps if I had a better first experience I would feel differently.

We live ~35 miles away. We always call first to make sure they are open (since there is only one cook) as we have made the trip before and they were closed. Food can't be beat and the prices are very reasonable. I have the Unkie's menu on my board at work! The lobster is 1st rate as is the rest of the menu; prime rib, ribeye, fillet, shrimp, all excellent. You can't go wrong on any menu item. Don't forget to order the green pepper rings. Our kids told us we need an "Unkies Intervention" but I'm OK with that!

We were there tonight, Thursday, Feb. 12. It was worth the drive! Food was amazing, they were packed, and the service was great!! Thank you for a great meal, steak and lobster, best meal ever!!!

This place is not very good. After driving 45 minutes and finding out they are closed we decided to try it once more. Its like a 2 cylinder John Deere hit and miss tractor as to if this place is open or closed. Never seen a restaurant that can open and close anytime they want.Barely anybody in the place,whats that tell you. The steaks are fatty as well as barely warm. Do not waste your time on this place !!!!

Stopped by on a Saturday night, around 8pm and the place was completely packed. Went down the street to the bar to wait for a table. It took about thirty minutes but it was well worth the wait. Great steaks that melt in your mouth and the price for the quality of food was extremely cheap. Best place to eat in the greater Ft. Dodge, Iowa area.

My wife and I love this place. The food is always excellent for a very good price. The steak and shrimp are my personal favorites but the entire menu is fantastic. Don't take my word for it, go there yourself and enjoy.

you have to try the jumbo shrimp, lightly breaded and the largest shrimp I've ever had in a restaurant. always get good food here.

We love Unkie's in Thor. Super great food and very friendly staff. We have been there many times and always have a delicious meal. The food is wonderful and can't beat their prices on food and drinks. They serve ice cream drinks, you have to try Brandy Alexander. They serve the largest shrimp I've ever ordered. Best Prime Rib too! Everything is great! You have to check it out.
