I have frequented Ames for a while now, mainly to visit my parents who are long-time residents. Since my mom passed away, my dad and I always struggle to decide on a lunch or dinner spot, leading to a lengthy debate before hitting the road. After extensive online research, I settled on Colorado Grill in Boone for a new dining experience. The unassuming exterior belies a spacious and cozy interior with a diverse menu featuring sandwiches, burgers, pasta, wraps, and more - a perfect choice for a satisfying meal with my dad.

Very slow waiting service. Could see our food sitting in the window almost 10 minutes. Server microwaved my meal to warm it up. Wife's meal was barely warm.
Disappointing.

Worst place ever, bad food, bad service, when asked for the manager was told that manager had stepped out to run errands. After telling her that I wanted to complain about the food and service she told me that she was the only one there and very busy, if three tables are busy maybe she should think about a career change.
