Two years ago, I visited a charming restaurant in Bonaparte, Iowa, located in a converted mill within a National Register district. The service was friendly and prompt, the blue plate specials were tasty, and the homemade cherry pie was an absolute hit. The atmosphere was filled with antiques and the dinner lighting was perfect, offering a great dining experience at a very reasonable price.
