The family restaurant in Muscatine offers delicious food at reasonable prices, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. While the service may be a bit slow, the superb quality of the food more than makes up for it, leaving me eager to return and even bringing a bowl of their vegetable beef soup home with me after a satisfying meal.

New owner since Nov.2012. Enjoyed an egg white omelet with feta cheese,spinach,tomato and jalapeno.
Have also had soft poached eggs cooked to my liking there.

This is the second restaurant that my husband and I attended when we moved to Muscatine.
I have to say, from a vegetarian stand point, they have so many choices! I really appreciate that. I hate it when people say, oh you want that or you don't want meat with that.
Our waitress was very accommodating. We were a little chilly, so she turned the fan down. My mother-in-law wanted lunch and so the waitress got her a lunch menu (during breakfast) and let her know what the cook could make at that time.
My husband raved about the biscuits and gravy. My eggs were cooked to order. The staff is very friendly. I was extremely satisfied with our food and service.
We are going back again tonight for dinner! Cannot wait. We would highly recommend going for breakfast and the service. I will write about the dinner and lunch as well.

Absolutely the rudest waitresses and owner of any restaurant I've been to. They seem to be very inconvenienced by customers. The food is passable at best, but the dining experience is the worst in every way imaginable.

Normally the service is OK. The problem today was that we waited for 10 minutes before we figured out that you seat yourself. (there was no sign, and the help just walked by without talking to us). Then we waited for 20 minutes before a waitress even brought us a menu or water. Then it was 20 minutes before she came back to get our order. Then we waited another 20 miunutes before we heard form a nearby table that they have been waiting an hour already. We left as did many others. It was Sunday at 9:30 am. Breakfast is not rocket science, just keep cooking hashbrowns and bacon.
