Our entire family extremely disappointed since it changed ownership, unfortunately the chicken has no flavor other than pure grease, not sure if it's the type of oil or not cleaning out the grease or whatever it is! Also the size of chicken pieces are half the size, if that!! Sadly nothing like the original recipe) Jack's Chicken, we no longer visit.

This establishment has stood the test of time for a reason - the chicken here is simply outstanding. The flavors are rich and the textures are perfectly balanced, bringing back memories of my first taste forty years ago. It's a must-visit in Dubuque for a hearty, satisfying meal that feels like a warm embrace.

We ordered 60 pieces of chicken for a family get together and it was all ready exactly when we came to pick up. The owner even had a warming box which he let us use and told us to just bring it back the next day! One reviewer mentioned that Jacks has been around for 30 years. Try over 50 years they have been at this same location. And it is as good today as it was back then. I use to go to Jacks when I was Just a Little Kid with my dad and I am 59 years old.

I have been eating Catfish all of my life and I have never had better than Jacks,the best ever!

Jack's has been a family tradition for over 30 years. Whenever we visit from Florida, we try to have some.

Great Chicken the walleye pike is good too. I live around the corner and the large fries (enough for a family of 6) are a deal. I have to double my onion ring order, they just disappear. and the salads are just fine try them!
