I was passing through town on a road trip last month and decided to grab breakfast at this local spot on First Ave. The parking lot was busy when I arrived, which is usually a good sign. The service was attentive and the food, like the hash brown skillet I ordered, was delicious and reasonably priced. If you find yourself in or near Newton, IA, definitely give this place a try - it's a great spot for a satisfying meal.

Stopped by on Sunday for lunch. Waitress was not used to th menu or did not seem to be. Service was awful, food was burned and no drink refills. Seems to be getting lots worse instead of better. Sad!!! Used to be excellent.
