On Saturday Aug 15, 2020, we arrived at 11:10 am expecting to sit on the patio. We were denied due to lack of servers. Note: a bridal shower required much help. It was no longer raining; we could have been safer outdoors with covid. The food was great but we were highly disappointed as we traveled an hour to get there. Not pleased!

We have been frequent and pleased patrons of the Candlelight since it opened; however, since February of 2018 we have noticed a serious decline in service and food quality. In the past seven months we have visited the restaurant more than 20 times with groups no less tan six persons. Every single visit has brought food that was overdone, stale, dried out and/or not worth eating. When issuing a complaint, the answer has ALWAYS been, "It's hard to get good help." No supervisors ever visit tables anymore and there's no way to reach a manager. We have a large group of friends who have been celebrating special occasions at Candlelight--but many are refusing now to return. As Columnist Bill Wundrum would say, Is anybody there? Does anybody care?"
