I always head to Iowa City for their chana masala and mango lassi, which are simply incredible. The service can be hit or miss, but the flavors always make it worth it. I finally ventured in after hearing about it for years and was blown away by the dishes, especially the samosas and chicken tikki masala, which left me wanting to come back for more.

I always frequent Masala in Iowa City for their delicious chana masala and mango lassi, despite occasional service hiccups, as their over 30-year presence in downtown Iowa City speaks volumes about the quality of their Indian cuisine offerings that I finally tried and found to be exceptional.
