I have been a regular at this establishment for as long as I can recall. The food is consistently excellent, service is prompt, and the owners are friendly individuals. Taste of China is my go-to for affordable and convenient Chinese take-out in the area. The dishes are flavorful, the portions are generous, and the overall experience is reliably satisfying.

This is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. Not just in Iowa City. I love their food and i regularly ge the steamed pork dumplings.

Bests: Shrimp eggroll, House Special Fried Rice made spicy, not on the menu, but easy to order, Singapore Mein Fun. Everything else I've tried over the years has been what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant in the middle of America: OK, which is better than many.

The workers are kind & hard-working. The food is delicious and I come here between 2-4 times a month. I have never been unsatisfied ONCE. Taste of China is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in Iowa City.

Food is delicious ... no matter what you pick. The people at the front desk are courteous and helpful. I am disabled and they always help me to the door and make sure I get out safely.

Taste of China has been in town my whole life. As I head back to college this week, and eaten at this restaurant over the summer in a little disappointed. The prices are great so I can afford to eat out by the Chinese food is better at my school.
