I am a frequent visitor of this restaurant, and I love the food. I would recommend Rossini to anyone in the metro Jackson area. After dining in Jackson throughout the years, I have honestly decided this is the best Italian restaurant in town.

We love Rossini's!! Every time we have visited the staff is very courteous and the food is excellent. My hubby tells everyone we talk to how good the crab cakes are, but it's not only the crab cakes, everything we have eaten is great! Thank you Lori and Tony for great service and hospitality!

Rossini is the best restaurant I've EVER eaten at. Excellent food and reasonable portions for such a high class restaurant. I will definitely be returning there many times in the future.

Amazing isn't good enough ~ phenomenal is more like it! From walking through the door to walking out the door - our experience couldn't have been better. Food was divine. My fiance had lasagna and I had the seafood pasta. Mama Mia! Fabulous! But more importantly, the service was impeccable! Will go again! Great date night!

Hostess (owner?) was extremely rude. When she asked of if we had a reservation and we replied "no" she acted as if we had never dined in an establishment as "fine" as hers. She impatiently said it would be a 30 minute wait, and we said that OK, we will wait in the bar and have a drink. After waiting for well over 20 minutes not one employee (including her) once asked us if we wanted something to drink, despite her taking drink orders from two other couples that arrived after us. Maybe they followed protocol and had reservations. I will never go back and would not recommend this "establishment to anyone. By the way, have heard of similar experiences from others, who were one and done.

My wife & I dine at Rossini Cucina Italiana frequently. Very nice atmosphere! Cozy booths for intimate times and open areas for larger gatherings. NO, they do not serve large quantities of mass made food...they DO serve reasonable portions of gourmet, hand-made dishes prepared from select ingredients by the Owner/Chef Tony. His lovely wife, Lori, does a wonderful job as hostess and choreographs the dining room, bar service and reservations. We are so pleased, we will be hosting a Holiday Dinner for our friends there.

I just had dinner at Rossini's tonight. The atmosphere was very nice. I was welcomed very warmly by an employee opening the door. The drink I ordered was okay but not exceptional. When I saw the check it was actually a bit less than exceptional. The food was listed at $16.95 or $17.95 and I was charged $19.95. This was a group dinner so the tip was added on which is normally fine. In this case they added the taxes then totaled it and added 20% tip. I usually tip 20% but not including tip for good service. The service was not at that level on a good day. The veal Marsala was not even warm when served. The portion of meat was about 3-4 oz at most. If it were hot and that size it would have been acceptable. I could not recommend this place based on anything I saw served tonight. I had a friend sitting at the bar during service and nasty things were said about our group by the owner and employees. Why would they agree to have our group and then say these things about us. If it wasn't for our group the place would have had been mostly empty. In this economy I would think they would want to serve us hot food to encourage repeat business.

Six of us just returned from a terrific meal at Rossini.Every dish we ordered, from appetizers to sorbet to entrees and then desserts was excellent. Huge proportions, outstanding service, and excellent cuisine. We are so happy to have discovered this well-kept secret and will return often. Oh, my brother-in-law is second generation Italian American and he rated the dishes as authentic and enjoyed all of it, as did the rest of us. The ambience is also enjoyable. Our waiter was the best!!! Oh, and the bread is homemade, warm and delicious!

I have frequented Rossini's several times in the past yet this past trip will be my last. It seems as if the prices remain the same yet the portion sizes do not. Was not impressed with my veal plate that had at the most 4 oz of meat. Don't get me wrong I never expected to get a 16 oz slab of veal.

Service is always with a smile but I walked away that night feelling as if I was ripped off.

Wow! What an awesome experience. From the minute we walked in the door the attentive service was amazing. I chose a filet topped with crabcream and I was blown away!!! They might want to promote filets as their specialty, although my husband wouldn't let me have any of his seafood pasta! Can't wait to go back. Beautiful atmosphere but not at all stuffy. (we wore shorts).

I have been eating at Rossini's since it was in its old location. They are a family owned business, with a chef owner who takes pride in his product. Everyone is greeted at the door with a smile, and almost immediate attention upon being seated. The waiters are professional and efficient. Of course, the food is first rate... real Italian flavors, as well as excellent desserts. They have private tables for an intimate feel or larger tables for family gatherings. The prices are extremely reasonable for the food and service that you receive. My favorite in our area!
