Took a friend to lunch for her birthday. The rice was cooked perfect but the shrimp and salmon were over cooked and burnt as were the vegetables. Sent back the food and asked for them to redo our order. The food came back the same way. Burnt and dry salmon. The shrimp were burnt as well. I asked for my money back. The food came with a soup consisting of water with very little broth and a few tiny pieces of mushroom and scallions. Because I had drunk some of the soup she charged me for it. I payed for the water and the soup which she deducted from the money she gave me back. In all fairness I only should have paid for the water seeing that the soup came with the meal.
The owner and her cook tried to explain that the food appeared to look burnt because of the hibatchi grill that they used to cook the food.
Please save your money and do not order food from this restaurant.
