I have always love Yen Ching Restaurant. They are not your typical buffet Chinese restaurant. They make your food at the time of order, you can request it to be made the way you like and the best part is that they seem to use high quality meat because I rarely have an issue with grissel or fat which does seem to be an issue with other Chinese restaurants. I will not eat at any other Chinese restaurant when in Jefferson City.

Yen Ching was a very good Chinese restaurant several years ago. Now it can be disappointing. I stopped for noon buffet on 11/5/2010 and was not favorably impressed. The food ranged from OK to miserable. The Beef and Broccoli in particular had nasty, limp broccoli and a pasty sauce. Sorry to see a favorite restaurant turn into "I won't be back."
