After exploring Lake McDonald by boat, my companion and I dined at Russell's Dining Room, where we savored perfectly grilled Columbia River Steelhead Trout paired with nutty hazelnut brown rice and quinoa, alongside delicious grilled squash and broccolini. Despite the slightly dry chicken, the flavorful mushroom and herb sauce, hazelnut quinoa, and veggies made for a satisfying meal, all served with friendly efficiency in a cozy dining area. The varied options at Russell's Fireside showcased the best of Montana cuisine, offering fantastic dishes like the Bison burger and charcuterie board, making it a standout dining experience within Glacier National Park.
