One of my favorite breakfast diners anywhere. Great service and food. Generous portions with a great diner experience.

I had Bob smothered chicken fried steak and it was most excellent it was full of veggies and enjoyed it very much

The food was pretty bad. Instant potatoes, canned gravy. Service wasn't very good, but the food was the most disappointing part of this dining experience. Even the salad bar was sad, very little in the way of choice.

I stopped in for breakfast while making my way through Kansas, off the chain good, great service and very local feel. If I am through Salina again I will definitely go there.

I drive this route monthly for work, OKC to Denver. Thought I would give this place a try. The waitress and waiter are some of the best I have ever seen!! Good job!! The kitchen staff, well that is another story.
I arrived around noon yesterday 10.21.2015 and ordered the chicken fry lunch special. As I looked around they had a hand full of customers and appeared slow. I sat at the counter looking in to the kitchen. A younger man in a green tee-shirt looked well, new to the job. As I waited, (20 minutes) for my lunch, an older man in a black tee-shirt walked in to the kitchen, he was very upset. Throwing the food and plates around, he was even hateful to the poor waiter, snapping a hatful sharp comment to him.
As I paid at the register, I tried to bring this to the attention of the lady; it was obvious she did not want to hear anything about it. I just figured the man in the black tee-shirt and the lady running register was the owners. On a side note the food gave me bad heartburn. Will not eat here again.
