I can't believe I haven't written a review of this incredible Chinese restaurant where I've enjoyed delicious dishes like General Tso's tofu, Singapore noodles, and Hunan shrimp with lo mein, all accompanied by amazing egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, steamed dumplings, and crab Rangoon, all served with great food quality, reasonable prices, and friendly service that makes it a favorite of mine for takeout, especially the spicy shrimp fried rice and orange chicken that remind me of my favorite dining experiences from eight years ago.

I have so many China House containers from lunch take-outs that I've had to give them away. I've never gotten a bad meal - always fresh and very good. If I ask for extra hot, they come thru! I can make 2 meals from one lunch special, so it's economical, as well.

I think this one may favorite Chinese restaurant ever. It has everything I look for in Chinese food, the best. I've tried every Chinese place in Lawrence with the 3 yrs I've lived here, and none compare, really.... The service is great and if there happens to be a line, wait is worth it! It's served hot every time...and the carry out containers are perfect to microwave the food in, its as good as it was the first time around. I LOVE YOU CHINA HOUSE!
