The chicken at this joint is off the charts, seriously. The sides are no joke either - cole slaw, German potato salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes? Yes, please! The catfish and shrimp are also winners in my book. Crispy, not greasy, just perfect.

First trip to Chicken Annie’s was in mid-50’s and I’m 68 now. Been a staple in my family for over half a century. It simply doesn’t come any better!

The food and service is always excellent. We always look forward to eating here when we travel to Kansas, about 4-5 times a year at least. A treat for us.

It was good 43 years ago with the not so level floors and it is still good with level floors. This is every college went to get chicken.
