We ate in newton ks today "¦ the establishment was very nice & clean "¦ we got ribs , brisket . Chicken "¦ for sides , potato salad , beans , Mac cheese "¦. Everything was delicious, and the staff very nice "¦ I live far away , but will definitely stop when I drive thru Newton again

Very disappointed in the quality of the meat, brisket was $2 extra and full of fat. Never see that happen at Hog Wild, 2 Brothers, or other area barbecue restaurants..
But what really bothered us was the rudeness of the servers. The man was okay but the lady was so rude...as soon as we came in she demanded us to give her our order, she never said hello or how are you, just what do you want? And acted very put out that we hadn't speed read her complex menu with lots of notifications in bold print, such as "we don't substitute sides, this is all you can get and no brisket allowed". Also the restaurant was not very clean. He booth we sat in was ripped.. We've been here before, but it was not like this, it was a pleasant place with great food and friendly service, and very crowded. Don't think they were just having a bad day, think the words gotten out...only 1 other customer the whole time we were there. Very disappointing. We need good restaurants in Newton with a variety of choices, but these people were not friendly at all. Sad.

The food was fine, the Mac and cheese👎. Pretty dry! My gripe is price. For a one meat 2 sides it's 27.00 yet we were charged 31.00 the 5.96 for chopped meat that come as a chopped meat meal. Making it a grand total of 41.00. I think it's the last time we will.be having Billy Sims. I could have chopped my own meat cheaper.😡👎. Newton store obviously charging maybe towards their own pockets!🤔

Got carry out the other night a rib dinner and a pulled pork sandwich meal. This is my final time wasting my money here. The ribs we just pieces of burnt dry flavorless meat full of gristle. They shouldn't even of been served. The pulled pork sandwich was small and flavorless was a waste of $ 23 dollars

Worst food I've ever had. Ribs looked rotten and tasted just as bad. Chicken was extremely dry and tasted like peppered cardboard. Potato salad tasted of mayo, just mayo. Will never eat here again.
