Best family restaurant I town. Daily additions to the menu including the buffet. Service is great and owners are friendly and talented.

Never been to Paola but went there to buy a car. Saw good reviews for Paola Eatery so we went for lunch. Waitress was frenzied and apologetic because she was the only one that showed up to work the front, but she was fine. Food was definitely a 'quantity over quality' situation. Chicken Fried Steak was absurdly huge, but it was 99.9% breading. The 'steak' was about 2 ml thick. It and the mashed potatoes and gravy were under-seasoned. Left 80% and opted out of a to go box. Fish and Chips were freezer burned fish and flavorless coated fries. Coleslaw and green beans were fine. We sat there and watched the waitress hurry from table to table and trying to seat people while an older woman with a gray bun stood at the counter drinking water, giving her the stink eye instead of helping.

When you get tired of canned food served as fresh. When you eat processed pre cooked meals. Get smart and eat at the Paola Eatery. Having dumped the other high priced rip off places. Paola Eatery serves delicious fresh food at a bargain price. The help are good people. With no fancy gayness furniture.
