Currently having some trouble keeping up with how busy the Cafe has become. As well in early February Chris has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, so it is only really two people manning the ship. Sorry to all of our regulars for the the inconvenience, but we are getting things sorted out and would love if you come back and try us again.

There's this cozy little cafe in town that serves up a killer grilled cheese sandwich, along with other simple and tasty dishes. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, plus the owner is a gem who gives back to the community. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Called on Friday for a chocolate cake, ganache icing, and purple flowers. I was told they could do all but the purple flowers and it can be picked up Saturday. The lady on the phone was pleasant and seemed confident with the order.
I was happy with that...
But the cake is dry and as you can see there is barely any icing between the loaves and quite bare on the outer. It certainly wasn't a wow factor to the Birthday girl.
From one business owner to another a little pride of ownership goes a long way. How you do anything is how you do everything. I hope the shop will take this instance into account and raise their standards or if they can't do something- don't tell a customer that you can.

Food was good in the past. Owner seems to treat employees badly. The service there has fine downhill in the new year.

Homemade food at its best! Nice family-owned and operated environment, with personable service, and great food! This has been a great addition to our community! Every time we are greeted with a smile and smell of homemade sticky buns. My family and friends are always impressed when I take them in with the healthy choices and creative menu items. Chris and her kids work hard and love what they do, and it shows!

half the time its closed and no one ever answers the phone for pick up orders. Too bad.. had a lot of potential to one of OSH's best.. but just not meeting expectations.

Chris's cafe is inconsistent. Sometimes the food is good.. The service is slow and lacking. It takes forever to get your food and to get out of there! Many menu items will be missing ingredients with an excuse after it is brought out " oh sorry, we ran out of that." The waitress runs around with her head cut off, cooking, waiting on tables and dealing with the cash register. The place is empty and weird.. a bit of a twilight experience!
