Our family have patronized Texas Roadhouse for many years. Recently we have experienced a decline in both the quality of the steaks and also of the service. Most recently we had a meal at the Olathe Texas Roadhouse location. My husband ordered as usual, the Ribeye Steak cooked "Rare". The steak was so full of tough grizzle that he could not cut it into pieces small enough to put in his mouth. Upon being presented with the bill he mentioned to the waitress his experience. When she brought back the receipt, she stated that she had reported our comment to the manager, and she was told to tell us "Next time we should order the Prime Rib". Really????? Maybe he/she should have suggested that a hamburger would also be expected to be tender? But he'd prefer a Ribeye!
