I enjoy dining at Christy's Tasty Queen for their delicious tenderloins, cheeseburgers, and ice cream, reminiscent of the restaurants I frequented growing up. The pork tenderloin sandwich I had was one of the meatiest I've had in Kansas City, paired with old-fashioned onion rings and prompt service. The restaurant has a classic, nostalgic feel inside, akin to an old Dairy Queen, with a large menu and outdoor picnic tables for a casual dining experience.

Undoubtedly the BEST tenderloin sandwich we have ever had and we've had them all over the country, as well as the best value. We also enjoyed their curly fries and onion rings. Just enough breading but not overdone. Not just ground up pork and reformed...a real pie e of pork tenderloin.

My husband and I went to Christys this evening...it had been a while since weve been there. I ordered a cheeseburger basket, 2 tenderloin baskets, and 3 shakes...we called our order in as we thought it would be ready by the time we got there to pick it up...YUK! Christys USED to "THE BEST" place in Turner to eat...Im very sorry to say NOT ANY MORE...and the service was very very bad also...the shakes mustve been made as soon as I called the order in...because they were like WATER....and whomever made them...
made a nasty mess on the cups and didnt wipe them off....when we picked our food up (15 min later)...the food was cold..the fries tasted like they had been fried a few hours earlier...and when my husband asked for napkins because the lids werent on the shakes all the way and we had a spill in our vehicle...the girl behind the counter gave him 4...thats right 4 napkins....for a mess to clean up...and the order was $42.00.....!!! NO THANK YOU CHRISTYS! we used to come to this lil restaurant and eat ALL the time...and it was such a TREAT....NEVER AGAIN.

If you LOVE those huge, thick, hand-breaded tenderloins, this is the place to go in Kansas City!! (These are getting hard to find anywhere). Plus, the gals there are always the friendliest people you'll meet.

Christy's has the BEST homemade tenderloins around, all there food and ice cream is awesome, the girls that work there are all so friendly.
