The pancakes here are amazing, and the vibe is super family-friendly, with servers who clearly know their regulars. If I lived around here, I'd be a regular too, because the food is delicious and the prices are just right!

Damn good home town restaurant. Some people don't understand the sassy-ness of the waitresses. It just keeps it interesting. Most customers just sass back and it gets funny. But don't get out right belligerent they'll take care of that too! Meaning they are people too. I hope they are around for a long time more. Good hard working people and a little fun throughed in too.

BAD DAY WENT THERE ON MY BIRTHDAY TO HAVE BREAKFAST GOT THERE AT 9 WAITED ABOUT 30-40 MINUTES GOT MY FOOD AND IT WAS COLD WAITED FOR THE WAITRESS TO COME BACK AROUND FINALLY AFTER BEING THERE ALMOST AN HOUR I STILL NEVER GOT TO EAT BREAKFAST AND LEFT !!!!! WENT TO MCDONALDS AND ATE OH AND I PAID FOR THE F O O D I NEVER ATE ABOUT 9.00

I had breakfast at the Englewood Cafe with my two children. I was first shocked by the waitresses rude treatment of customers . I wasn't greeted by any of the four waitresses working. After ten minutes of standing around looking at empty tables I seated myself. The waitress seemed highly irritated with me.We ordered our breakfast. I had the special which was Sausage,Eggs,Hashbrowns and toast. My children both ordered half orders of biscuits and gravy.My breakfast was fine but my children both found hair in their gravy.I would never recommend this poorly run establishment. The service is bad and the food isn't prepared properly.

This is grandma...and mom's home cooking. Heck, it's even my home cooking when I don't feel like planning a meal, shopping for the groceries and washing dishes. So nice to be waited on by friendly neighborhood servers. Breakfast is terrific. For dinner, the salmon patties and meatloaf with all the regular sides are favorites of ours. But the entire menu should be tried!
