Okay so I have to take a minute to say I have searched the whole Kansas City area from chain restaurants to fast food places to diners and the little hole in the wall joints and to no avail I had finally accepted that I will only have some really good California style mexican food when I go back to Ca. and have it then. Today was my first day that I decided to ride into Independence from here in Blue Springs all by myself. On my way home I was driving along and I saw this little place that looked a little familiar. Although I knew it was not anywhere I had ever visited before I was hungry and thought whats the worse thing that could happen? Maybe I will learn just not to go there again! I went in and ordered a Carne Asada burrito and they did not have taquitos but did have rolled tacos the girl in there assured me that I would not be disappointed so I got some of those. O.M.G.... I finally found my favorite mexican place to eat here and it is only like 5 minutes away! If anyone in the KC area here wants to try what a true mexican meal from Ca taste like you have got to go there. It is called Pancho's and they are in Blue Springs, Lenexa, and Kansas City Mo. You will not be disappointed

Been going here since 2009, such a great discovery! Best Mexican food for the money around. Wonderful staff that works there also. This a must try for tacos and burritos! Excellent!

Excellent food, large portions and great prices. It seems like authentic Mexican food - not Americanized Mexican. Good stuff!
