My friends and I planned a short trip away for the weekend and stayed in Leavenworth. We had read the reviews on the Depot and loved the idea of it being located inside of an historic train depot, so we gave it a go. On our first visit we had Nick as a server. He gave us excellent service. The whole staff was attentive, friendly and patient even though it was a fully filled dining room and they were obviously busy. The food was great! We liked the restaurant so much we returned there to have our last meal in town before heading home to Manhattan. This time we had James serve us. Is everyone in Leavenworth as lovely as the folks at the Depot? What nice people, great and friendly service and wonderful food this place has. One of our new favorites and will definitely have to eat here again the next time we are in town. We absolutely fell in love with the town and people of Leavenworth. Just wonderful. Worth the trip.

I eat at The Depot at least once per week (my wife even more, lol). Breakfast or lunch, everything is terrific! But what I want to mention here is their wings. I love chicken Wings and I'm a bit particular about them. I've even been told that I make pretty good wings so that gives me some street cred right? Ok seriously, the Depots wings are hands down the best in Leavenworth. But you know, I've traveled this country and I'd tell you they are some of the very best I've ever found! Hey where's Guy Fierri to come check this place out? The wings are dry rubbed so if your a sauce person I'm not sure what to say except you need to try them! . The wings are crisp and always perfectly cooked... nice and juicy inside. Most important, they are consistent. I've had wings at other places where one night they're pretty darn good, the next time they are fried to crispy dust. Not the Depot. If you haven't tried this place do it. If you have tried this place and haven't ordered everything on the menu.... well you need to!
