I have been on the lookout for a quality cottage cheese and came across a reliable 1% and 2% small curd option produced by a local plant. The product is marketed as Highland Dairy in my area and may still be available at certain Sam's stores. I purchased it about a year ago and found it to have a good shelf life, the appropriate level of creaminess, and a satisfying texture for cooking.
