Peak's is about as good of a barbecue restaurant as you will find anywhere. They have been cooking ribs, chicken, ham, beef, pork and mutton over an open pit fire for over 65 years. The most well known product is the black peppered barbecue ham. The sauce is a vinegar based red sauce. The owner is as friendly as they come and the place is really one of a kind. A must try!

The food at Peak Bros is always worth the wait, even if they can be a bit slow with call-in orders. As a long-time patron of over 50 years, I can attest to the delicious mutton that is a family tradition in Western Kentucky. The ham, sliced just right, is a must-have every time I visit, and the BBQ sampler plate is a meat lover's dream come true. It's not just a meal, it's a taste of tradition that keeps me coming back every time I'm in the area.

These lazy -ss people won't ship or use overnight shipping when they have a great tasting product. They don't know you lose money if you don't try to make money. You want to be known but you hide. This is why Moonlight in Owensboro is making money because they ship. If you can't hang with the big dogs stay in the hidden country.

I drive 3 hours to get one of their hams for Christmas. My Mom and Dad used to always have one at Christmas and I am trying to do it to for as long as I can. I sure wish you all shipped.

We have been purchasing our hams from your company for many years and have found them to be the best around except for this year. We were very disappointed!!! The ham was so dry. We were able to eat some of the meat from the middle but the outer part was so dry it was hard to even cut. We finally had to throw away over half of the ham. I feel that you need to know about this so you can correct the problem. We are having second thoughts about purchasing again. We have highly acclaimed your hams for many years to our employees and friends but undecided about future reviews. Peak Brothers have the BEST HAM'S in KY, Southeast.
Our first experience goes back to 1957 when we lived in Evansville, In.
Our Business, Four Star Mktg. started giving Dealer's HAM for Holiday / Christmas season 10 years ago.
We will be making our annual trip in December for another Load!!
The drive from Atlanta Georgia to Waverly is a MUST trip per our Dealer, Customers. They tell us the "Taste" is like no other Ham they have ever experience.
If you need a GREAT Christmas Ham, PEAK BROS., Waverly is the place to go. ( call ahead as they are SELLING a bunch this time of year. (Say hello to Irene. She is Great!)

After hearing of this place from a good friend who's family members are on here with reviews - we happened on Peak Bros. on a Sunday afternoon for their BUFFET! It was WONDERFUL! The variety of meats you could try (BBQ mutton was new to me!) and the good-ol' Sunday dinner style of food was just perfect! The buffet also included a country-style breakfast and desserts! For the $$ it was a great deal!

My family and I have been going to this place since before I was born. I will be 50 next week. You have got to try this place; it's REAL barbecue made the RIGHT way. Just try to ignore the UK posters in there. I'm an Indiana Hoosier fan myself, but as they say: It's one HELLUVA a barbecue joint!

Great BarBQ! I remember going to visit family and stopping in to get the chipped mutton on bread with a sliced onion and dill pickle. Throw in an Orange Crush soda with chips and you're in heaven. Also, you can't beat their smoked ham at Christmas time. Treat yourself and give it a try.

This is by far my favorite barbecue place in the country. I have lived in Texas, North and South Carolina, and spend every trip finding the places the locals prefer.
I favor the sliced pork sandwhich, very basic on white bread with pickles and lots of their great sauce.
Let me put it this way, I have bribed a friend to drive down from Cincinnati to load up a few coolers and bring it to the coast of South Carolina for a party. It is that special.

What else can I say their slogan is dead on"ONE HELLAVA BBQ PLACE" The best BBQ I have ever eaten! The dip not sauce.... just ask them is such a unique taste that will make you drive cross country for.

Great Bar-b-que restaurant located in rural West Ky setting. Peak's is a local favorite that draws people both near and far. They have a great variety of barbecue (ribs, chicken, beef, pork, mutton) that has an unmatched taste. My favorite would have to be their signature sliced ham tray. It is a plentiful portion of meat soaking in their patoned spicy barbecue sauce.
This place is a must if you are within driving distance.
