Traveling back to my hometown always brings a craving for classic, nostalgia-inducing food. The staff here are truly amazing, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. And let me tell you, the burger here remains my all-time favorite - it's delicious and affordable! If you find yourself passing through, make sure to swing by for a taste of history and a side of small town hospitality.

Best quick hamburger in all of Kentucky! They are large and juicy with good toppings. Their ice cream is awesome! It's as good as the ice cream was at Riverview Park in Chicago, IL in the 50s. Just the ice cream is worth the drive. It is a food stand so eating in the car is nearly a must. While on your way there from Owensboro stop at the Vegetable stand in Calhoun, KY. Large selection of vegetables and mums. Depends on the season. Both great reasons for a road trip! Enjoy!

You know when someone drives from Madisonville to Island just for a cheeseburger,it's good..
and I do...best cheeseburger I have ever had.

They are famous for their hamburgers (as in, "You want an Island burger?"). A dressed burger, fries, and drink is the perfect order. Their burgers are so big, most people can't hold all of that!
