The lunch I had for my anniversary was very enjoyable. The dishes we ordered, Fettuccine Alfredo, cod sandwich, chess pie, and peanut butter pie, were all delicious. Our server, Dorothea, provided excellent and friendly service throughout our meal.

No place in the world I'd rather eat , steaks to die for, the staff make ya feel like I was at momma's eating.Super comfortable made me feel like family . I be back over an over can't tell me nothing ,luv the place ,,super clean I felt safe with all going on in the world eating there.

We stopped off at B J's Bar & Grill for a late lunch/early dinner on Sep 25, 2010. First off, the positive. The wait to be seated was short, the burgers were a slight bit better than Denny's and the prices were comparable to Denny's.
And now for the rest of the story. We were seated the same time as the table next to us, who had their order taken and received their drinks and salads before our server S*** even came to our table, letting us just sit there for about 15 minutes. When S*** did come over, there was no smile, no hello, and it seemed as though it was a BOTHER for her to wait on us. This attitude continued throughout the whole meal, the only time she came to the table was when she had to deliver something, thank goodness the busboy kept our glasses filled. After we had all finished our meals, S*** walked by our table four times in a ten munite period looking at our empty plates and just ignored the fact that we were obviously done and ready to leave. So we finally got the check, paid the bill, and decided to let the manager J**** about the horrible service we received. He proceeded to defend his staff by saying that they had a "rough night last night" because they were all at a big party. WOW... REALLY? He asked what he could do to make up for it, I told him I didn't want anything except the assurance that he would talk to S*** so other customers wouldn't have a similar experience. His answer... "I can't do that since she's on of my best servers, some people just have bad days." He never did apologize for the type of service we received.
I would recommend Subway or Burger King if you are hungry in the Bardstown area, AVOID B J's Bar & Grill!!!
PS - don't get the curly fries...
