Sunset has undergone new ownership, resulting in a revitalized atmosphere and improved offerings. Live entertainment and a revamped menu are now part of the experience. The restaurant provides a pleasant setting with great views of the Ohio River, making it a worthwhile destination for a meal.

Great staff. Great food. Understandable the service can be slow when extremely busy. Beautiful view with outdoor seating as well. Seems the "bad reviews are just from people who only paint the partial picture" I would recommend this place anytime. Keep in mind that during busy times the staff can only do so much. Don't leave bad reviews if you expect lightning service wroth a packed house lol. .

My hubby and I try to drive down there a couple of times a year for the ambiance and the great food. Just a great biker bar with indoor and outdoor seating, wonderful view of the river and friendly service. The only reason we don't go more often is that it's over an hour away.

I read some not so favorable reviews about this place and I am happy to tell you those reviews were dead wrong We had a server named Jeanette and she was fantastic. Gorgeous views great food great alcohol What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!!!

To say they don't care is an understatement. The service was slow. The tables and floors were filthy. The menu had misspelling. We had to asked to have a table wiped down (multiple times). No one even acknowledged our table of seven adults and two children for about 15 minutes. My BLT had unripen green tomatoes, lettuce that wasn’t cleaned. The stalk hadn’t been removed and a very minimal amount of bacon was present. Just enough so they could claim it was a BLT. The potatoes skin were about the constancy of a hockey puck complete with sour cream from a to go tube. We had to ask for our bill and when it arrived the restaurant had the guts to charge for ice on a Crown Royale! Two drinks were $11.00 and then $3.00 for ICE! I have never been so appalled in my life and recommend everyone save themselves and go right past this place.
