I love this place. They have good food and the girls that work there are always so friendly and make you feel at home when you come in. I call in orders alot and my food is always done when I get there and orders are right and always delicious! I I definatly recommend it. So glad our little community has a decent place to eat.

I have eaten at McKinney Depot nearly every Sunday from January 2016 through October 23rd 2016. We were treated with respect and received real good service. One thing that impressed me was that the wait staff went out of their way to recognize us and give us the best service they could on each visit.

On one occasion there was a church emergency; we had no cell phone signal, and the restaurant took the call. Waitress Mary Brown came directly to me and advised me of the need. As a result I was able to meet the need of the emergency. I thought that was a special service for which I am truly grateful.

McKinney Depot is one of the finest small town eateries I have had the privilege of frequenting. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area. It is destination for Friday evening if you like Catfish, it's all you can eat. Friday is busy, busy, so be patient.

Finally, all the staff at McKinney Depot Restaurant made my wife and me feel like family. You can't beat that anywhere you go except home. Give them a try, and if they are full & busy be patient not critical!

MY EXPERIENCE LAST NIGHT 4/25/12 WAS NOT GOOD..FIRST OFF THE WAITRESS THAT WE HAD COULD STAY BUSY WITHOUT REALLY DOING ANYTHING. SHE HAD ALOT OF TABLES BUT HER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE.. WE NEVER GOT DRINK REFILLS OUR PORK TENDERLION WAS BURNT ON ONE SIDE AND WE USE TO GET BIGGER PIECES. OUR FOOD AND SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD BUT LAST NIGHT WAS TERRIBLE. THIS IS A VERY GOOD RESTAURANT AND THE FOOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD BUT MORE THAN ONE WAITRESS IS NEEDED ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS..

I have eaten at McKinney Depot many times and the food and the service is Great. If you like great home cooked meals, then McKinney Depot is the place to eat. The food is always fresh and hot and the deserts are awesome.
