The buffet offers a variety of food, so it's best not to be too choosy. I find the staff friendly and the prices reasonable. I sometimes visit when I'm feeling too lazy to cook or order delivery.

four stars for the general food...5 stars for the sushi...NO stars for the manager(?)/cashier!! refused to accept my punch card after the required 10 punches had been made. only said "next time not this time." and walked away. that would mean I had to pay for 11 dinners instead of the required 10. but it was the rudeness of the man!!! If this is the norm at an ichiban buffet, they will no longer get my business. My wife and I USED to go there at least once weekly(that's 104 dinners a year x ten dollars per...that's about $1040 a year) but not again unless this post or another is responded to!!!

People that live in Nicholasville, KY, beware of Ichiban Chinese Buffet. We took my girlfriend's dad there today for fathers day and had an unwanted guest dining with us...a cockroach! We immediately stop eating (about 2 or 3 bites in) and they still refused to comp the meal, give any sort of discount, or even apologize. The only offer they gave me was a punch card good towards our next visit...like that's going to happen. I won't be giving them my business anymore and I suggest you do the same.
