Catfish Willy's exceeded my expectations as a dining choice, offering delicious frog legs and hush puppies that were cooked perfectly. Despite finding the grilled catfish a bit greasy, the overall dining experience was enjoyable and the friendly service made me eager to return for more tasty dishes and a welcoming atmosphere.

TERRIBLE!!! Was told 20 minute wait and waited 50 minutes. Sat down and waited another 45 minutes for food! This is ridiculous!!

Waited over 40 min to receive our food. Got our food and was told our corn on the cob was coming out in a bit but never got it. Food was cold. Ask for the owner and the owner sent over the hostess and I Told her my concern. Her reply was, not to come on a Friday night due to lent.

Honestly, if you want fiddlers these are some of the best in the city. Very light crust on expertly prepared fish, not a hint of greasiness, just the right catfishy gaminess. The fried green beans are a nice switch. I was a regular at the old Red's in Sorgho and have put away plenty of Moonlight fiddlers as well -- Willie's are right up there -- not as heavy a crust, but still delicious.

O.M.G. Who knew that there was a place in Owensboro that was this good? Place was packed on the Saturday evening that we went, and now I see why!
They have so much more than just catfish, although I hear that it is really good, I had to try one of their seafood boils. Let me say this, I will never drive out of town again to go to Joe's Crab Shack! The seafood here is waaaaay better!! a definite must-try.

The catfish is very good but the homemade slaw is amazing! It has a sweet and sour dressing that taste like none I have ever had, I wanted to lick that bowl!

After reading posts by friends on facebook, I couldnt wait to try this place out. Everyone was talking about how good the food is, and boy were they right! I tried the Sweet Heat boil, and it had crablegs, shrimp,potatoes, and corn on the cob with a sausage in a pail with with some delicious seasoning on it! My husband had the catfish and said it was the best he had ever tasted, very clean and mild flaky fish. The server was very attentive and everyone there aimed to please...We will definitely go there often from now on!

I ate at Catfish Willy's recently and was very disappointed. I was expecting a better quality food for the price. I will not be back but I do have to say the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean very. Over all I will not be back and if anyone ask me about the food I would not suggest them to go.

The food here is amazing! I've had fish at other places, but never again! This is now the only place for me for fish! I highly recommend the blackened catfish, fried green beans and cole slaw! The most amazing cole slaw ever by the way!!!! Even the loaded baked potato stood out here! Everything was perfect! The wait staff is super nice too! I highly recommend going with a crowd and trying what everyone else ordered too! If you do you WILL be back!
