The food at this place is really good, especially the Doc-style wings and burgers. Amanda was our server, and she was fantastic - she knew the menu well and made sure we had a great experience. They have a lot of menu options, including some vegan and vegetarian choices, which I appreciate. We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and we had a great time. The atmosphere is lively, especially when they have outdoor seating available. We'll definitely be going back.

Barlycorns in Florence, KY.
Visited on a Saturday, 6:30 P. M. Was seated right away on the outside patio. Friendly hostess and nice waitress.
Was very disappointed in the menu change. Gone is the Tower of Togas and the Meatloaf and potatoes
(Guess no cooks can make any potatoes other than French fries). No grouper entee either; just the sandwich. I had the
Fish and Chips. Spoiler alert: the 3 pieces of fish are tiny now. At least 25% less in size with less fries as well. While good taste, portion is not worth $14. The cole slaw did come in a nice size, but plain cabbage taste (not creamy at all). If you wish a peaceful dinner, or one where you can speak normally to your partner, do not sit outside. It was very loud with guest drinking and loudly talking.
As a Barlycorns loyal customer for over 30 years at both locations, I am very disappointed. The current owner has done a terrific job at turning a once iconic restaurant into a plain over-priced burger and alcohol place, no different than most other places.

Wayfair has been showing gratitude , compassion and helping out by giving two meals a week to each employee while helping a local business. Barleycorn being one of them! I highly recommend the meatloaf, so good. If your new to Barlycorns meatloaf has got to be their specialty
