If you're looking for a great spot to grab a bite, you have to check out this eatery in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes that always satisfy my cravings. Whenever friends visit, I love bringing them here to share in the local flavor.

I was looking forward to Emma's because I have heard it's pretty good. I was hugely disappointed when we visited this week with a group of friends and embarrassed because it was my suggestion. There was one other occupied table when we arrived. There were 4 wait persons on duty, all in a group at the counter talking. It took a minute for a waiter to arrive at out table because the counter conversation seemed more interesting than the customers I guess. The time we were there I did not see the counter group attend to customers except to bring out food and checks. They stayed together talking amongst themselves and looking at their phones. No checking to see how customers were doing and to see if anyone needed anything. Finally food arrived and it was terrible. Several of us had Brussels sprouts as a side and none of us could eat them. They looked good but they were undercooked inside and inedible. No one in our group ate them. I had chicken fried chicken which is advertised on their sign out front. It looked like it had been thawed from being frozen and was terribly salty, also not edible. Several people had biscuits and everyone said they were hard. One on our group had to send the fish back. Maybe this was just a bad day but none of the 12 people in our group plan to go back. Too bad because the menu looked really good. They never got busy while we were there so maybe word has gotten around that things have changed.

This restaurant is absolutely a rustic gem. The restaurant is super clean very cute and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their food is absolutely amazing and unique everything that I ordered was seasoned perfectly and it brought Great taste to it and they have unique items on their menu. I was blown away with how good the food was and how much I got for a total of $63 it fed my family of five. I will be continuing to eat there and reviewing all of their menu items if you want to know where to go get good food for a good price it's Emma's Southern kitchen!

We have been here several times.I love the food.I am partial to the Cuban sandwich.It is delicious.The ham and roast pork are so flavorful.My husband got the fish and chips ,regular size. He said it was the best he had ever had.The regular portion was plenty for him.The salads are huge and look amazing.The burgers look great too .Oh ,the shrimp tacos are special. All the sides are homemade.Only problem is deciding what to get.
