One of the charming places in Knoxville with food that will knock your socks off. We ventured into this little "hole in the wall" to find the atmosphere fit for the neighborhood.
The bread was fresh and well prepared for the table of olive oil and pepper.
The ravioli is home-made and busting with flavors. It change from night to night.
The saute spinach was made from fresh leaves and flavored to perfection.
The lasagna is the best of any restaurant or Italian home. ...Great for takeout.
Another the night, we had the pizza. It was the best that we've had in the States since touring Italy in '93. We ordered another to go for the week. However, not your American Pie.
If you like the venture to the unknown, you can trust the "chef's special." This is home-made cuisine with neighborly atmosphere.
Only the real 'worldly traveler' will appreciate the flavors from this kitchen, hidden in one of Knoxville's best neighborhoods. BYOW
There's no telling who you might see in this "little slice of European culture," deep in the neighborhood of Sequoya Hills.

A restaurant in desperate need of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares! So unbelievably unorganized. We arrived at 6:15 and propmptly ordered a pizza and a side. At 35 minutes, we changed out order to go. About 25 minutes after that we finally got our food. We were told--"the oven messed up and it's on the house." The family behind us had ordered ahead; they arrived about 7 minutes after us and had not been served when we left. The kitchen crew/waitstaff seemed very frazzled. The sauce had good taste as did the meatballs, but they were cold. The pizza had decent flavor, but was unevenly cooked and had fallen apart when being boxed. This is why it was "on the house." Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but we won't be going back.
