Plum Tree is fantastic, best Chinese food in Knoxville. It is a bit run down, atmosphere not too much , but the food is amazing !

I ordered lunch to go. I was a frequent patron. I asked to have the rice separated from the food. The lady said she couldn't and then passed the phone to the manager that said she could sell the rice separately if I bought the dinner portion. Needless to say they lost a frequent customer over a fifty cent container. Poor management with No people skills.

Upon approaching the front counter I could smell there sink from the back room / kitchen and my wife really wanted to try them, we did and they tasted horrible ! The rice was standing up by itself and the beef and chicken tasted nasty.. Needless to say I asked for a refund and was called names asked to leave and on top of that my wife left the food on the curb and the guy runs outside and splatters my car with it... So I'm out $15 and a car wash and yes I called the cops and even the cop said I don't and won't eat here.... Avoid this place unless you want reheated slop from the day before !!!!!!

Simply put, the best food I've ever eaten. I've been dreaming up excuses to come to the area again just to eat here.

Love the food here..my Knoxville fav for spicy and comfort food..steamed whole fish there is great..order it everytime..

i loved the food. it was good and cheap.i tried the quail.i have never wanted to try meat that people here didn't usually ate. it so good. i recommend this restaurants.
