I am disappointed in my meal tonight. The food quality was was the worst I have had there. My coconut shrimp was nothing like I have had there before,it was much smaller, the breading didn't have much flavor,the shrimp was not butterflied as it was in the past,the grease it was cooked in left a greasy skum in my mouth, the breading was slimy and doughy on the inside. The shrimp was awful. My husband's meal was of lesser quality than he has had there in the past. They also changed their fries to a much lesser quality and style than they had in the past which is disappointing. We will not be returning to Walts Pub and Grill in West Lafayette for a long time. They need to bring the quality of their food back up to the standards they had in the past. What they are presently serving is obviously a much lesser quality of food.

Our first time having dinner there, no plans to return.
For 17.99 I had coconut shrimp that was so darkly cooked you could not tell what it was. The shrimp came with rice, vegetables, choice of salad of which I had Cole slaw. The small amount of rice at least tasted ok. The vegetables were something you would get at school, just frozen broccoli, carrots, squash, cauliflower steamed with no seaso ing and mushy. And the Cole slaw was flavorless. For a price like that you would think the vegetables would at least be fresh made.
Husbands steak was 1/4 " thick and fatty, same gross vegetables, baked potatoe was fing and side salad was good.
Only good part of the meal was the company and the waitress was good.
Over $100 for 2 meals, 5 drinks.
