The food was delicious and the service was satisfactory. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. I would consider returning in the future.

I dined into Pizza Village on Kaliste Saloom last week and decided to order a couple of pizzas for carryout last night.(~50$ worth) I used the number on the pizza box I was given at the store, go figure that is for the northside location! So I arrived after a half hour to pick up my food, I was told specifically that my two pizzas were being put in the oven at this time and will be ready in 25-30 minutes. I returned at 9:50 and no pizza. The manager informs me that everything is my fault because I dialed the moss st number; I agree that I could have researched the number more carefully, but you have to expect that when you HAND OUT THE WRONG PIZZA BOXES! I then brought up the issue of her employee lying to me about specifically putting my pizzas in the oven. Look if the pie isn't ready, it isn't ready -- don't lie to me about it. If someone had told me the pizza was on the north side at 9:15, I would have been glad to pick it up then, instead the employee made up a bold faced lie. At 9:50 after two trips to your store you cannot possibly expect me to drive to your other location for my food. The manager refused to apologize for her employee lying to me and began to make excuses for him. At this point I informed her that I was unhappy with the way she was handling the situation, and asked if there was someone in charge I could talk to. She begrudgingly went to the back and eventually a grey haired man came out to speak to me. He also refused to apologize for the situation, and told me as a matter of fact 'this is what is going to happen' - I can pick up my pizza on moss st, or wait 20 minutes for them to make it here. No other options. I mentioned his lying staff and he also made excuses for them and refused to apologize, and said that compensation for the inconvenience was out of the question. Absurdly poor service, I will never go back so long as these managers are employed here, their customer service abilities are just not up to par. Making up excuses for lying employees is beyond poor and their total lack of regard for the situation was disturbing. As for the food, the toppings are unremarkable and the crust is so far as I can tell almost exactly the same as the frozen thin crust dough sheets they use at Dominos, so there really is no point to go here at all.

Me and my brother-in-law showed up for lunch on 12/9/11. We ordered salad and small pizza. The salad was brought out immediately and I sat there while my brother-in-law finished his large salad. Then the waittress came and said it would be another five minutes,ten minutes later I got my dried burnt pizza. Checking out,I was told by a employee that I would have to wait for a cashier that was making pizza at the time. First thing he said to me was "What I had to make pizza". Finally paid bill and will not return ever.
