Have been eating ur Bbq for years but tonight it was lacking, was dry, good flavor,just not as good as it should have been, maybe new help in the drive thru??

I don't know where to begin. Great sandwich, terrible customer service. Rude with attitude unbecoming of any restautant my family cares to patronize.
Firstly, the phone is always busy. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone to place an order. So we ordered a very big order on Doordash (over $100), expecting we would have an option to notate our order needed to be packed for travel. We did not see that option and saw that our order was confirmed. Fortunately, (we thought) we were able to get them by phone, within a minute or two of order confimation. When we aksed if we could have the order packed for travel, they said no, that the order for 6 sandwiches had already been prepared.
We placed the order at 11:07, and had them on the phone at 11:08 with our request. 11:09 an email confirmation that order was received.
Pick up time scheduled for 11:45 to 11:50.
Our call at 11:08, they told us the order was already complete and they could not pack it for travel.
We went as far as to drive to the restaurant and attempt to reason with them. The owner/manager refused to do anything to make it right, claiming that 36 years in business that they are not worried about an unhappy customer.
We won't ever go back, despite the fact we have supported their small businees for many years, prayed they survive hurricaine Laura and other tragic events in the area.
The attitude we received from management was so disheartening, like a stab in the back from an old friend.
Farewell. Your sandwich is good, but not that good.

The window person is the only one taking orders and handing out call-ins...so Yes the phone is almost never ever off the hook, if its busy then someone is on hold and that order is about to be taken, that window person can only do so much....so please be patient as there are other customers who also trying to order...

Great Food, However the order by phone process is very outdated. It appears it is common place for them to take the phone off the hook when they get busy. Due to the popularity of the place it seems that ownership would install a multiline system to accept orders. I have commonly called for one hour straight and received busy signals.
