I had liver and onions with mac and cheese and okra, and it took me back to my roots. As someone who grew up in the South, I've been picky about Southern food, but this meal blew me away-everything was incredibly delicious. The place has a fresh look now, but the warm hospitality and authentic soul food remain, with the smothered chicken and meatloaf bringing back memories of home.

The food was fantastic. I have had the fried chicken and fried pork chops. Both were among the best I have had anywhere! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
