This food was not good, at all. The raving reviews are baffling, not to mention suspect. The ribs appeared to be parboiled, mushy and gray colored. No flavor at all. I kept seeing a guy go out back and come back with small portions of meat. It seems as if he was putting cooked meat on a smoker to give it a smoke flavor. That's not bbq.
The smoke cannot permeate the meat if it's already done.
My wife and I hated it.

Three Sam's Barbecue is my favorite bbq spot in the central Arkansas area. Great bbq, good portions, good sides, friendly wait staff. I can't believe somebody said Corky's is comparable. Corky's is third on my list in this area.

Best food around Little Rock. Best staff in the world. Great burgers, fudge and pies. Worked in Little Rock six weeks and found a gem. Just wish I could have brought it back to Texas.

Best BBQ joint I have found since moving from North Carolina. It is not Lexington BBQ, but it is a good place to eat.

Best of all foods. you get a good variety. I have had the foot long hot dogs, chicken salad sand which, hamburger, onion rings, bbq potato, and chicken and dumplings.Never been disappointed. Enjoyed everyone of them. the staff is great. You just have to try it to believe it.

Three Sams is very, very good BBQ, the sides are also very good. The portions are generous. They also have good hamburgers and decent onion rings. The best BBQ for the best price in the Little Rock area. Only Corky's is comparable for quality and price. They are only open from M-F for lunch. I wish they were open at least one night during the week and Saturday. The eating area is adequate except at lunch time - extremely busy and crowded. I have always been treated well by the waitresses even though I am one person at a table for four.

It seems you always find really good food in the most out of the way places. Great food (you have to try the beef brisket, foot longs and REAL homemade desserts) and down home atmosphere. The best cheesecake and fudge that I have EVER eaten! All the food is really made from scratch!

Excellent barbecue. Solicitous wait staff. Down-home atmosphere that is typical of authentic barbecue places all over the South.
I highly recommend Three Sams. It's one of the best barbecue places in central Arkansas.
