best food in town

Very disappointing - okay ordered a bottle of wine - waiter botched cork in the bottle - said he was getting new bottle- leaves for quite some time - returns with an already opened bottle of wine - okay little do they know - I know exactly what they did - filtered out all the pieces of cork from the wine in the back - and had the waiter return with the same bottle already unsealed as he did that at our table in the beginning and brought a cork already out of the bottle and stated "new bottle" all new cork - okay buddy good try - we didn't complain - got our soup and salad as our apps - waiter no where in sight- had to ask another server for fresh pepper - dinner comes and my sirloin is tough - very little "lobster topped" sirloin as well as a very small tough piece of sirloin! - my honey.s dinner - okay steak sandwich - not very meat filled for a steak sandwich and a lot of bread around the little amounts - not eager to return for dinner! Would highly recommend the bellport over porters - very expensive for a non - vibrant/ highly expectations for a dinner
- local resident - what a shame ! - I'm also a waitress and unfortunately reflected in our servers tip- no more than 15%- and I always tip 20% but just couldn't with poor service and treatment in terms of ordering a bottle of wine - sorry! Hope they improve their customer service 👎
