I was in Ayhans last Saturaday night with a friend of mine for dinner. We had stopped going there after being embarressed when the manager began yelling at some of the staff at the cash register. This was not the first time we had witnessed this but decided we were paying too much money to have to witness this kind of unprofessional behavior. We decided to return but have found that nothing has changed.

The young man that waited on us was very sweet and informative. He returned to our table and seemed a little reserved after being screamed at by his manager. We felt bad for him as we have never recieved bad service in this resteraunt just poor management and food. We enjoy the quiet warm setting but have decided to return to our favorite place in Oceanside. We are greeted in a proffesional manner and the service and food is priced nicely.

Yes, hummus dip is gone from bread tray, but ask for it and betcha it will reappear. Make yourself clear on anything that needs improvement: they are eager to oblige. Villager salad, stuffed eggplant, baked lamb shank, any fish dish,-- yummmy!
Also, nearby Rockville Center Ayhan"s is my local favorite for celebrations. Carmen is adorable!
