Embassy Diner owner Gus is great very welcoming person. Their Food is fantastic and the portions are large. Its a Family friendly restaurant, I drove all the way from Ronkonkoma to eat there. They are also one of the most Patriotic bussiness on loing island and big supporters of our men in blue.

They make you feel at home. When we arrive, they always say "welcome home girls".
The food is great and so is the staff. The place really is amazing. We love it!

A BLAST FROM THE PAST. LIVING AROUND THE BLOCK FROM EMBASSY DINER WAS OUR GO TO FOOD HANGOUT. FOOD WAS AMAZING, SERVICE THE BEST AND THE WARM TOUCH OF GUS AND THE STAFF IS WORTH GOING. SEE YOU AGAIN FOR SURE. JC

Embassy Diner under new ownership Gus is great very welcoming food was fantastic big portions. Family friendly waiter was great looking forward to next visit.

Bussers vacuuming the dining room while people are eating is not okay. We were the only people in the dining room. It could have waited. Food and service were good though.

Food was undercooked, coffee was undrinkable, sausages were cold on the middle staff dosent care. Bathroom had a layer of Greece on the floor of the bathroom. Almost did a split at the urinal told manager he shrugged me off. Don't go there if you dont want to get sick.
called the Nassau county health dept. this morning, they opened up a case today

Hamburger is like rubber, buns isn't fresh (preheated) very dry.Fish and chips as well. paid for lunch $ 80.00 for four people. I recommend good management.

Food was just ok. Large portion. Meat had odd flavor but main issue is listed menu online has wrong price listed. $7 extra for Romanian steak. Is this the covid surcharge?

I placed an order for 3 gyros with fries, salad and a sodas, over the phone. I asked for the price twice and the gentlemen over the phone said he has to wait until the other person rings it up. I said ok. (First sign I should of listen to). I get there to pay and pick up. When I ask how much... he said $16 !! I said that's wrong you are under charging me. He then says to me louder no $60!!! I said noooo, no way it's $60. He walks away to speak to the Cheif and the Cheif tells me it has salad and fries. I said it's still to high. He then walks over to the booth to the manager or owner. He comes back and tells me J can remove the sodas/$9. I said so it's $51 for 3 gyros. I said please return my card and walked out.

Be careful when paying by credit card over the phone. I ordered blueberry pancakes and a Mediteranean Panini this evening. Adding Sales tax and 3.5% credit card surcharge, the total should have been about $22, per their online menu. When I arrived to pick up my order, my credit card receipt said $32 and change. When I questioned the total, I was told there was a mistake, and given back $2. I still ended up paying $30 for what should have been $22.
Also, their blueberry pancakes usually come with the fresh blueberries cooked inside the pancakes. Tonite, the blueberries came cold, in a separate container from the pancakes. Very unusual.

The diner food was pretty decent. French fries were okay. Omelette was cooked fine but service was a little slow.

I've lived in this area my whole life and always ate at the embassy diner, but I recently found out that it's closing. The owner will be in denial if you ask him but it's the truth.
